Chinese Name: Da Chai Hu Tang
English Name: Major Decoction of Bupleurum
Ingredients:Chai Hu (Radix Bupleri) 15g Huang Qin (Radix Scutellariae) 9g Shao Yao (Radix Paeoniae) 9g Ban Xia (Rhizoma Pinelliae, washed) 9g Zhi Shi (Fructus Aurantii Immaturus, prepared) 9g Da Huang (Radix et Rhizoma Rhei) 6g Sheng Jiang (Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens) 15g Da Zao (Fructus Ziziphi Jujubae) 12pcs.
Administration: Decoct the ingredients for oral administration .
Actions: Mwdiating Shaoyang, purgating the internal heat accumulation.
Indications:Shaoyang syndrome complicated with Yangming syndrome marked by alternation of cold and heat, fullness and discomfort of the chest and hypochondrium, persistent vomiting, dysphoria, epigastric fullness and pain, or epigastric fullness and hardness, constipation, diarrhea with hypochondrac heat, yellow tongue coating and taut pulse with force.
