Densefruit Dittany Root-bark(Bai xian pi)
Baixianpi is the dried root of Dictamnus dasycarpus Turcz.,pertaining to Rutaceae.The root is collected in spring and fall.After the earth,sands and coarse bark are removed,the root bark is peeled,and then cut into slices to dry.The raw form is used.
Medicinal Properties:Bitter and cold.
Meridian Tropism:Spleen,stomach and bladder meridians.
Medicinal Efficacies: Clear heat,dry dampness;dispel wind and relieve toxicity.
Usage and Dosage:4.5-9g.Also it can be used externally.
