Chinese Wolfberry Root-bark(Di gu pi)
Digupi is the dried root bark of Lycium chinense Mill.and Lycium barbarum L.,pertaining to Solanaceae.The roots is collected in early spring or in later fall.After washed,the rooy bark is peeled,sun dried,and then cut into segments.
Medicinal Properties:Sweet and cold.
Meridian Tropism:Lung,liver and kidney meridians.
Medicinal Efficacies: Cool blood,relieve bone-steaming;clear lung fire.
Usage and Dosage:9-15g.
