Ash Bark(Qin pi)
Qinpi is the dried twig bark or dried bark of Fraxinus rhynchophylla Hance,Fraxinus chinensis Roxb.,Fraxinus szaboana Lingelsh.or Fraxinus stylosa Lingelsh.,pertaining to Oleaceae.The bark is peeled in spring and spring,and then sun dried.The raw form is used.
Medicinal Properties:Bitter,astringent and cold.
Meridian Tropism:Liber,gallbladder,and large intestine meridians.
Medicinal Efficacies: Clear heat,dry dampness;stop dysentery and leucorrhea;clear liver and improve vision.
Usage and Dosage:6-12g.Also it can be used externally.
