It is the dried whole plant of Lysimachia christinae Hance,family Primulaceae.It is collected in the summer and autumn.After its impurities are removed,it is cut into segments,and dried in the sunshine.The raw form is utilized as a medicine.
Medicinal Properties:Sweet,salty and slightly cold.
Meridian Tropism:Liver gallbladder,kidney and bladder meridians.
Medicinal Efficacies:Eliminate dampness to treat jaundice;promote diuresis to relieve stranguria;eliminate toxic materials and relieve swelling.
Usage and Dosage:15~60g.It is used for oral use;the amount of the fresh should be doubled.Appropriate amount is used for external use.
