English Name: Bone-Clearing Powder
Ingredients:Yin Chai Hu (Radix Stellariae) 5g Hu Huang Lian (Rhizoma Coptidis) 3g Qin Jiu (Radix Gentianae Macrophyllae)3g Jie Jia (Carapax Trionycis)(prepared with vinegar) 3g Di Gu Pi (Cortex Lycii Radicis) 3g Qing Hao (Herba Artemisiae) 3g Zhi Mu (Rhizoma Anemarrhenae) 3g Gan Cao (Radix Glycyrrhizae)2g.
Administration:Decoct the above drugs for oral administration.
Actions:Clears heat and drying dampness , regulating qi and blood.
Indications:Internal heat due to yin deficiency marked by steaming sensation in the bones, asthenic hectic fever, or prolonged low fever without subduing , emaciation, red lips. flushed cheeks, lassitude, night sweating, or thirst with dysphoria, red tongue with scanty tongue coating , thready and rapid pulse.
