Chinese Name: Qing Ying Tang
English Name: Decoctiong for Clearing Heat from Ying Fen

Ingredients:Shui Niu Jiao (Cornu Bubali ) (originally Xi Jiao) (Cornus Rhinocerotis) 30g  Sheng Di Huang (Radix Rehmanniae) 15g  Xuan Shen (Radix Scorophulariae) 9g  Zhu Ye Xin (Herba Lophatheri ) 3g Mai Dong (Radix Ophiopognis) 9g  Dan Shen(Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae ) 6g  Huang Lian (Rhizoma Coptidis) 5g  Yin Hua (Flos Lonicerae) 9g  and Lian Qiao  (Fructus Forsythiae, with the core used together) 6g.


Actions:Clears heat from phase and removes toxic substances, eliminates thea ans nourishes yin.

Indications:Heat entering ying phase marked by body fever worsened at night, dysphoria with insomnia, coccasional delirium, thirst or without thirst, faint rashes, deep red dry tongue, thready and rapid pulse.
