Chinese Name: Xiao Jian Zhong Tang
English Name: Minor Decotion for Stregthening the Middle Enegizer
Ingredients: Gui Zhi (Ramulus Cinnamomi,peeled)7.5g Gan Cao (Radix Glycyrrhizae, prepared) 5g Da Zao (Fructus Ziziphi Jujubae) 5pics( broken off) Bai Shao( Radix Paeoniae) 15g Sheng Jiang (Rhizoma Zingzberis Recens, slices )7.5 and Yi Tan (Extractum Malti) 30g.
Administration: Make the intredients into capsules and take3 capsules each time; or make the ingredinents into grenules, and take 15g of the granules each time; or make the ingredients into mixture, and 20-30ml each time, three times a day;or decoct the ingredients and take out the decotion, Put maltose into the decotion to be dissolved by heating. Take the decoction while it is still warm.
Actions: Warm the middle energizer with dissharmony of the liver and relieves spasm.
Indications: Asthenic cold of the middle energizer with disharmory of the liver and spleen marked by abdominal pain and spasm relieved by warming and pressing, dispiritdedness, fatigue, or palpitition, as thenic restlessness,or aching pain of limbs, feverish sensation of hands and feet with dysphoria, dry throat and mouth , pale tongue with white tongue coating, thready and taut pulse.
