English Name: Middle-tonifying and qi-boostig Decoction
Ingredients: Huang Qi (Radix Astragali seu Hedysari)18g Zhi Gan Cao (Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparata)9g Bai Zhu (Rhizoma Atractylodis Macroephapae)9g Ren Shen (Radix Ginseng)6g
Chai Hu (Radix Angelicae Sinensis)3g Ren shen (Radix Ginseng)6g Chai Hu (Radix Bupleuri)6g
Ju Pi (Tangerine peel)6g.
Administration: Decoct the above ingredients in water for oral administration
Actions: Replenishes the qi and strengthens the spleen,elevates the spleen yang to treat qi collapse.
Indications:(1)Qi deficiency syndrome of the spleen and stomach marked by short breath and disinclination to talk, low and weak voice,pale complexion,fatigue,poor appetite,loose stools,pale tongue with whitish coating,and large forceless pulse.
(2)Syndrome of the sinking of spleen-qi marked by hysteroptosis,gastroptosis,protracted diarrhea and protracted dysentery metrostaxis ,short breath,fatigue,pale tongue,and weak pulse.
(3)Fever due to deficiency of middle-qi marked by fever with spontaneous sweating,thirst with desire for hot drink,short breath,fatigue,pale tongue,and large forceless pulse.
