Chinese Name: Zhu Sha An Shen Wan
English Name: Cinnabar Traguilizing Pill
Ingredients:Zhu Sha (Cinnabaris)15g Huang Lian (Rhizoma Cotidis) 18g Zhi Can Cao (Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparata)16.5g Sheng Di Huang (Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata)4.5g Dang Gui (Radix Angelicae Sinensis) 7.5g.
Administration:Grind the above ingredients except Zhu Sha into fine powder Make the above powder into boluses with extreme fine powder of Zhu Sha, take 6-9g dosage modified proportinally to the original formula. Zhu Sha should be refined into extreme fine powder with water, and water, and thken with decoction.
Actions:[/b]Settles the heart and calms the mind, purges fire and nourishes yin.
Indications:Syndrome of mental derangement due to the faming of heart-fire consuming yin and blood marked by vexiation and irritability, inxomnia, dreamness, aevere palpitation with fright, or upsetting sensation in the chest, red tongue, rapid and thready pulse.
