Chinese Name: Si Shen Wan
English Name: Four Mirecle Pill
Ingredients:Rou Dou Kou (Semen Myristicae)6g Bu Gu Zhi (Fructus Psorleae)120g Wu Wei Zi (Fructus Schisandrae)60g Wu Zhu Yu (Fructus Evodiae)30g.
Administration:Grind the above ingredients into coarse powder,mix it with 120g of Sheng Jiang (Rhizoma Zizngibeis Recens) and 50 pices of Da Zao (Fructus Ziziphi JUjubae) after they are boild and the cores removed; make the mixture into pills as big as the seed of Chinese Parasol. take 6-9 g each time and twice daily; or decoct the above ingredients in water for oral adminiatration with the dosage reduced in proportion to the original formula
Actions:Warms the kidney and spleen. consolidates the intestine to stop diarrhea.
Indications:Diarrhea before dawn due to yang deficiency of the spleen and kidney manifesting as abdominal pain and diarrhea before dawn, anorexia , indigestion, or protracted diarrhea, abdominal pain with preference to warmth and pressure, soreness of waist and cold limbs, mental fatigue and lassitude, pale tongue with and whitish coating, deep, slow and forceless pulse.
