Ingredients: Shu Di Huang (Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata)24g Shan Yao (Rhizoma Dioscoreas) 12g Shan Zhu Yu (Fructus Corni)9g Gou Qi Zi (Fructus Lycii)9g Tu Si Zi (Semen Cuscutae)12g Lu Jiao (Colla Cornus Cervi) (Parched into pearls)12g Du Zhong (Cortex Eucommiae)12g Ruo Gui (Cortex Cinnamomi)6g Dang Gui (Radix Angelicae Sinensis)9g Fu Zi (Radix aconiti)6g.
Administration:Steam Shu Di,and grind the others into fine powder and mix with honey to make boluses as big as the seed of chinese parasol,to be administered orally 6-9 grams each time with warm boiled water,2 times a day.The ingredients can also be decocted in water for oral administration with the dosage reduced in proportion to the original formual.
Actions:Tonifies Warms and tonifies the kidney-yang,enriches the essence and replenishes the marrow.
Indications:Deficiency syndrome of the kidney-yang and mingmen -fire marked by qi debility and mental ratigue from senilty or protracted diseasees,aversion to cold and cold limbs,weakness and soreness of waist and dnees,sexual impotence,prospermia,or infertility due to yang deficiency,or poor appetite,loose stool,or enuresis,pale tongue with whitish coating ,deepand slow pulse.
