Chinese Clematis Root(Wei xian ling)
The source is from the root and rhizome of the perennial trailing shrub,Clematis chinensis Osbeck or Clematis hexapetala Pall.or Clematis manshurica Rupr.,family Ranunculaceae.It is dug and collected in the autumn,dried in the sun,cut into pieces and the crude one can be used.
Medicinal Properties:Pungent,salty and warm.
Meridian Tropism: bladder meridian.
Medicinal Efficacies: Expel wind and dampness;unblock collateral and relieve pain.
Usage and Dosage:6-9g.The appropriate amount for external use.
