The source is from the dried bark and bark of branch,root of Magnolia officinalis Rehd.et Wils.or Magnolia officinalis Rehd.et Wils.var.biloba Rehd.et Wils.,family Magnoliaceae.It is skined during April,May and June.The crude one may be used or the prepared one with ginger juice is used.
Medicinal Properties:Pungent,bitter and warm.
Meridian Tropism:Spleen,stomach,lung and large intestine meridians.
Medicinal Efficacies: Dry dampness,eliminate phlegm;drive qi downward,remove stuffiness.
Usage and Dosage:3-9g.It can also be created into pill or powder form.
