Slenderstyle Acanthopanax Bark(Wu jia pi)
The source is from the root cortex of Acanthopanax gracilistylus W.W.Smith,family Araliaceae.It is called Nanwujiapi conventionally.It is dug and collected in the summer and autumn,dried in the sun,cut into thick pieces and the crude one is used for medication.
Medicinal Properties:Pungent,bitter and warm.
Meridian Tropism:Liver and kidney meridians.
Medicinal Efficacies: Dispel wind-damp;tonify the liver and kidney;strengthen the tendons and bones.
Usage and Dosage:4.5-9g.It can be soaked in wine,or added into pill or powder.
