Chinese Name: Zhu Ye Shi Gao Tang
English Name: Decoction of Lophatherum and Gypsum
Ingredients:Zhu Ye (Rhizoma Phragmitis)9g Shi Gao (Gypsum Fibrosum )30g Ban Xia (Rahizoma Pnilliae, washed) 6g Mai Men Dong (Radix Ophiopogonis,core removed) 12g Ren Shen (Radix Ginseng) 6g Gan Cao (Radix Glycyrrhizae, prepared) 6g and Jing Mi (Semen Oryzae Nonglutionosae) 9g.
Administration:Decoct the above ingredients for oral administration.
Actions:Clears heat and generates body fluid,benefits qi and regulates the stomach.
Indications:Exogenous febrile diawase, epidemic febrile diaease and summer-heat with residual heat consuming qi and body fluid marked by fever, profuse sweating, epigastric and thoracic diatress and discomfort, or dysphoria with sleeplessness, short breath, nausea, vomiting, dry mouth with preference to drining, red tongue with scanty togngue coating , feeble and pulse.
