This medicinal is the above-ground part of Eclipta prostrate L.(Fam.Compositae).It is harvested when the plants is in blossom,dried by nature sunlight,sliced and used in its unprepared form.
Medicinal Properties:sweet,sour and cold.
Meridian Tropism:liver and kidney meridians.
Medicinal Efficacies:Nourish liver yin and kidney yin,cool blood to stop bleeding.
Usage and Dosage: 6~12g.
