This medicinal is the dried part(above the ground) of Epimedium brevicornum maxim,E.sagittatum Maxim,E.punescens Maxim,E.wushanense T.S Ying or E.koreaum Nakai.It is collected in summer and autumn,when the stem and leaves are in full bloom and it is dried by natural sunlight and cut into pieces.It is used in its unprocessed or stir-baked with sheep fat form.
Medicinal Properties:Pungent,sweet and warm.
Meridian Tropism:kidney and liver meridians.
Medicinal Efficacies:Tonify kidney yang;strengthen tendons and bones;expel wind-damp.
Usage and Dosage: 3~15g.
