This medicinal is the dried root or rhizome of Acanthopanax senticosus Harms(Fam.Araliaceae).It is collected in spring and autumn.After being washed clean,dried and macerated,it is sliced,dried by natural sunlight and used in its unprocessed form.
Medicinal Properties:sweet,slightly bitter and warm.
Meridian Tropism:spleen,lung,heart and kidney meridians.
Medicinal Efficacies:Replenish qi to invigorate spleen;tonify kidney and induce tranquilization.
Usage and Dosage: 9~27g.
