English Name: Cardiotonic Pill
Ingredients:Ren Shen (Radix Ginseng) 15g Fu Ling (Poria) 15g Xuan Shen (Radix Scrophulariae)15g Dan Shen (Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae) 15g Jie Geng (Radix Platycodi)15g Yuan Zhi (Radix Asparagi) 30g Bai Zi Ren (Semen Pltycladi) 30g Suan Zao Ren (Semen Zizihi Spinosae)30g Sheng Di Huang (Radis Rehmanniae Praeparata) 120g.
Administration:Grind the above ingredients into fine powder.Make the above powder into boluses with extreme fine powder of Zhu Sha, take 6-9g a day before going to bed. Or decoct the ingedientd except Zhu Sha in water, with the dosage modified proportinally with the original formula. Zhu Sha should be refined into extreme fine powder with water, and taken with decoction.
Actions:[/b]Nourishes the yin and enriches the blood, eases the heart and teanquilizes the mind.
Indications:Syndrome of mental derangement due to deficiency of the yin and blood marked bu palpitation, insomnia, vexation due to deficiency , mental fatigue, nocturnal emission, amnesia, feverish sensation in the palms and soles ulcerated tongue, constipation, reddened tongue with little coating , thready and rapid pulse.
