Zingiber Dried Ginger (Gan jiang)

It is the dried rhizome of Zingiber officinale Rosc.,family Zingiberaceae.It is collected in winter,after the fiber is removed,it is cut into pieces,dried in the sunshine or in low temperature.The raw form or processed is used.
Medicinal Properties:Pungent in flavor, hot in nature.
Meridian Tropism:spleen,stomach,kidney,heart and lung meridians.
Medicinal Efficacies:Warm the middle-energizer to expel cold;restore Yang and dredge channels;warm the lung to resolve retained fluid.
Usage and Dosage: 3~9g is used for oral use.
