Chinese Name: Liu Wei Di Huang Wan
English Name: Six-ingredient Rehmannia Pill

Ingredients: Shu Di Huang (Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata) 24g Shan Zhu Yu (Fructus Corni) 12g Shan Yao (Rhizoma Dioscoreae)12g Zhe Xie (Rhizoma Alismatis)9g Mu Dan Pi(Cortex Moutan Radicis)9g Fu Ling (Poria,peeled)9g.

Administration:Grind the ingredients into fine powder and mix with honey to make boluuses as big as the seed of Chinese parasol,to be administered orally 6~9 grams each time with warm boiled water,2~3 times a day.The ingredients can also be decocted in water for oral administration with the dosage reduced in proportion to the original formula.

Actions: Nourishes the Liver and Kidney.

Indications: Yin deficiency syndrome of the liver and kidney marked by weakness and soreness of waist and knees,vertigo,tinnitus,deafness,night sweat,emission.diabetes,steaming sensation i the bones,hectic fever,feverish sensation in the palms and soles,dry tongue and sore throat,gomphias,pain in heels,dribbling urination,as well as persistent opening of fontanel,reddened tongue with little coating,a deep, thready and rapid pulse.
