Chinese Name: Ke Xue Fang
English Name: Henioptysis Formula

Ingredients: Qing Dai (Indigo Naturalis)(ground in water)6g  Gua Lou Ren (Senmen Trichosanthis) 9g  He Zi (Frucus Chebulae) 9g.


Administration: Grind all the  ingredients into fine  powder and make  in into honey pills, take 9g each  time for oral administration, or decoct  all the  ingredients in water  for oral administration.

Actions:Clears heat from the liver and lung and cools blood to  arrest bleeding.


Indications:Hemoptysis  due to liver  fire invading the lung  with manifestations of cough, thick sputum with blood streak , difficult expectoration, vexation and irritability hypochondriac pain , dry throat and bitter teste in the mouth, red tongue with yellow  tongue coating , wiry and rapid pulse.
