The source is from the root of Stephania terandra S.Moore,family Menispermaceae.It is called Hanfangji conventionally.It is dug in the autumn with skin removed and dried in the sun.It is cut into thick pieces and the crude one is for use.
Medicinal Properties:Bitter,cold.
Meridian Tropism:Bladder and lung meridians.
Medicinal Efficacies: Expel wind,relieve pain;induce diuresis to remove edema.
Usage and Dosage:4.5-9g.
