This medicinal is the dried ripe fruit of Ziziphus jujube Mill.(Fam.Rhamnaceae).It is collected in autumn when the fruit is ripe and it is dried by sunlight.It is used in its unprocessed form.

Medicinal Properties:sweet and warm.

Meridian Tropism:spleen and stomach meridians.

Medicinal Efficacies:Tonify the middle and replenish qi;nourish blood and induce tranquilization.

Usage and Dosage: 6~15g.Cleave first and then place into the decoction.
