Chinese Rose Flower(Yue ji hua)

It is the flower of Rosa chinensis Jacq.,family Posebush.Jiangshu Province is the main producer of Yuejihua which is of the best quality.It can be collected all year-round,when flowers come into blossom.It is dried in shade,or at low temperature and then ready to be used as a medicine.

Medicinal Properties:Sweet,bland,slightly bitter and neutral.

Meridian Tropism:liver meridian.

Medicinal Efficacies:Active blood and regulate menstruation;soothe liver and dispel depression;dissipate swelling and remove toxin.

Usage and Dosage: 2~5g.Do not decoct for a long period of time.It can be steeped or ground into powder.The appropriate amount is used for external application.
