It is the dried bud of Rosa rugosa Thunb,family Rosaceae.The buds are collected in batches late spring and early summer when it is going to bloom.After the pedicels and bases are removed,they are dried in low temperature.The raw are used.

Medicinal Properties:sweet,slightly bitter and warm.

Meridian Tropism:liver, spleen meridians.

Medicinal Efficacies:soothe liver to remove depression;promote blood circulation and stop pain.

Usage and Dosage:1.5~6g.
