Lalang Grass Rhizome(Bai mao gen)
It is the rhizome of Imperata Cylindrica Beauv.var major (Nees)C.E.Hubb.,family Gramineae.It is dug and collected during spring and autumn,fibrous roots removed,washed clean dried in the sun,cut into segments.It is utilized in its raw form.
Medicinal Properties:Sweet and cold.
Meridian Tropism:Lung,stomach and bladder meridians.
Medicinal Efficacies:Cool the blood and stop bleeding;clear away heat and promote diuresis;clear away heat in the lung and the stomach.
Usage and Dosage: 9~30g or 30~60g of the fresh.
