Fortune's Drynaria Rhizome(Gu sui bu)
It is the dried rhizome of Drynaria fortunei(Kunze)J.Sm.,family Polypodiaceae.It is harvested and collected all year-round.Its impurities are removed,and it is washed clean.Then it is cut into segments and dried.It can be used in a raw,or scalded with sand,form.
Medicinal Properties:Bitter and warm.
Meridian Tropism:Kidney and liver meridians.
Medicinal Efficacies:Active blood and treat trauma;tonify the kidney and strengthen the bones.
Usage and Dosage: 3~9g.In the fresh form ,6~15g.The appropriate amount is used for external application.
