The source is from dried ripe seeds of Prunus humilis Bge.,Prunus japonica Thunb.or Prunus pedunculata Maxim.The ripe fruits are collected in the summer and autumn,seeds taken out and dried.And the dried seeds are peeled and the raw form is used for medication.
Medicinal Properties:Pungent,bitter ,sweet and neutral.
Meridian Tropism:Spleen, large intestine and small intestine meridians.
Medicinal Efficacies: Moisten the intestine to relieve constipation,promote diuresis and relieve edema.
Usage and Dosage:Decoction 6~9g.It is taken orally.It is broken first,and later it is added to the decoction.
