Chinese Name: Dao chi San
English Name: Powder for Treating Dark Urine

Ingredients:Sheng Di Huang (Radix Rehmanniae) 6g Mu Tong (Caulis Akebiae) 6g and Sheng Gan Cao (Radix Glycyrrhizae, thin ends) 6g.

Administration:Add Zhu Ye (Rhizoma Phragmitis) to be decocted together with the above ingredients for oral administration.


Actions:Clears heat from phase and removes toxic substances, eliminates thea ans nourishes yin.

Indications:Fire and heat syndrome of the heart meridian marked by dysphoric fever of the heart chest, flushed face, thirst with desire for drinking, sore of the mouth and tongue, or heart heat transmitted to small intestine manifest as unsmooth urination with dark ing, sore of the mouth and tongue, or teat transmitted to small intestine manifest as un smooth urine and stabbing pain, red tongue and rapid pulse.
