Ailanthi(Chun pi)
It is the dried root bark or trunk bark of Ailsnthus altissimoa(Mill.)Swingle .,family India Quassia wood.It can be collected all year round,the root bark or trunk bark is peeled,after the rough bark is scraped off,it is dried in the sunshine and cut off.The raw or baked with brans is utilized for medicine.
Medicinal Properties:bitter,astringent and cold.
Meridian Tropism:large intestine,stomach and liver meridians.
Medicinal Efficacies: Clear heart and dry dampness;astringe to relieve leucorrhea,diarrhea and stop bleeding.
Usage and Dosage: 6-9g is used for oral use,the appropriate amount is used for external use.
