This medicinal is the dried root of Morinda officinalis How (Fam.Rubiceae).It is harvested all year-round.After the removal of fibers,it is dried ,and staved for insolation.Also,after it is thoroughly macerated,or steamed,and its wood crelate is removed,it is sliced into pieces or stir-baked with salt water.
Medicinal Properties:Pungent,sweet and slightly warm.
Meridian Tropism:kidney and liver meridians.
Medicinal Efficacies:Tonify kidney yang;strengthen tendons and bones;expel wind-damp.
Usage and Dosage: 5~15g.
