It is the seed of Raphanus sativus L,family Cruciferae.It is collected during summer when mature .The plant is cut and dried in the sun.The seeds rubbed out,impurities removed,then it is dried in the sun again.The raw or the stir-baked form is used.
Medicinal Properties:Pungent,sweet and neutral.
Meridian Tropism:spleen,stomach and lung meridians.
Medicinal Efficacies:promote digestion and relieve dyspepsia;direct qi downward and resolve phlegm.
Usage and Dosage: 4.5~9g.
