Chinese Eaglewood Wood(Chen xiang )

It is the resinous wood of Aquilaria sinensis(Lour.)Gilg,family Thymelaeaceae.The resinous wood can be clooected all the year.After the parts witiout resin are removed,it is cleaved into pieces and then dried in the shade.It is used after being pounded into small pieces or grounded into powder.
Medicinal Properties:Bitter,pungent and slightly warm.
Meridian Tropism:spleen,stomach and kidney meridians.
Medicinal Efficacies:Promote qi flow to relieve pain;warm the middle energizer to stop vomiting;warm kidney to improve inspiration.
Usage and Dosage: 1.5~4.5g,decoct later.It can also be pounded into juice for oral administration or grounded powder for pills.
