Suberect Spatholobus Stem(Ji xue teng)
It is the dried vine of Spatholobus suberectus Dunn,family Leguminosaae.It is collected during autumn and winter.After the leaves are removed,it is cut into pieces and dried in the sunshine.It can be utilized in its raw or steamed into paste form as a medicine.
Medicinal Properties:Bitter,sweet and warm.
Meridian Tropism:Liver and kidney meridians.
Medicinal Efficacies:Promote blood circulation and tonify blood;soothe tendons and active collaterals.
Usage and Dosage: 9~15g.Large dosage can be utilized ,as much as 30g.It can be taken orally,soaked in liquor or decocted into a paste.
