Baihuasheshecao is the whole plant of Oldenlandia diffusa (willd.)Roxb.,pertaining to Rubiaceae.It is collected in summer and fall.It is washed,sun dried,and then cut into slices.The raw form is used.
Medicinal Properties:Slightly bitter,sweet and cold.
Meridian Tropism:Stomach,large intestine and small intestine meridians.
Medicinal Efficacies: Clear heat,relieve toxicity;excrete damp and relieve stranguria.
Usage and Dosage:15~60g.Also it is used externally.
