Chinese Name: Er Chen Tang((二陈汤)
English Name: Two-Matured Ingredients Decoction
Ingredients: Bang Xia(Rhizoma Pinelliae) 15g; Ju Hong(Exocarpium Citri Grandis) 15g; Fu Ling(Poria) 9g; Zhi Gan Cao(Radix Glycyrrhizae Praeparatae)4.5g
Administration: Grind the above ingredients into fine powder; take 12 gram each time, add 7 slices Shen Jiang(Rizoma Zingiberis Recents) and 1 pieces of Wu Mei(Fructus Plum), then decoct them in water for oral administration.
Actions: Dries dampness and disperses phlegm, rectifies qi and harmonizes the middle energizer.
Indications: Cough due to damp phlegm manifesting as profuse white phlegm being easy to be coughed, glomus and oppression in the chest and stomach duct, nausea and vomiting, fatigued limbs, dizziness, palpitation, white greasy or white glossy tongue coating, slippery pulse.
