Chinese Name: Huang Lian Jie Du Tang
English Name: Antidotal Decoction of Coptis
Ingredients:Huang Lian (Rhizoma Coptidis) 9g Huang Qin (Radix Scutellariae) 6g Huang Bai (Cortex Phellodendri) 6g and Zhi Zi (Fructus Gardeniae) 6g.
Administration:Decoct the above ingredients for oral administration.
Actions:Purges fire and removes toxic substances.
Indications:Sthenic heat, frie and toxin of triple energizer marked by high fever, dysphoria, delirirm, insomnia, drt mouth and throat, or hemoptysis, nosebleed and eruption due to febrile diaeases, of diarrbea, of jundice due to dampness and heat, of surgical sore, carbuncle, tongue coatinguncle and boil, yellow and dark urine, red tongue with yellow tongue coating, repid and forceful pulse.
