China Medical Blue Book says 35% Imported Medical Devices were manufactured in China

Recently China Association for Medical Devices Industry released the " 2013 Blue Book for the Development of China Medical Devices Industry". It is the first "Blue Book" released for Medical Devices in China.

According to the "Blue Book"  the import and export of medical devices in year 2013 amounts to 33 billion US dollars. Surprisingly about 35% imported medical devices were produced in China. After export to oversea and then imported to China. Europe is the China's first imported medical devices source, north America ranks second.

Among the imported medical devices, most of them are medical catheters, olor doppler ultrasound, CT machine, MRI,endoscope, medical linear accelerator, artificial joint,etc.
