It is the tender branch and leaf of Platycladus orientalis (L)Franco,family Cupressaceae.Collected during simmer and autumn,the coarse peduncle and other impurities removed,dried in the shadow,it could be used in its raw or carbonized form.
Medicinal Properties:Bitter,astringent and slightly cold.
Meridian Tropism:Lung,liver and intestine meridians.
Medicinal Efficacies:Cool the blood and stop bleeding;eliminate phlegm and relieve cough.
Usage and Dosage: 6~12g.Appropriate amount for external application.
