The source is from vine and stem of Trachelospermum jasminoides(Lindl.)Lem.,family Apocynaceae.It is collected from the winter to the next spring with impurity removed.And then it is dried in the sun and sun into pieces.The crude one is for use.
Medicinal Properties:Bitter and cold.
Meridian Tropism:Heart,liver and kidney meridians.
Medicinal Efficacies: Expel wind,unblock collaterals;cool blood and reduce swelling.
Usage and Dosage:6-12g.Just right amount is for external use.The fresh one can be pounded for external application.
