Bud of Hairyvein Agrimonian(He cao ya)
This medicinal is the hibernacle bud of Agrimonia pilosa Ledeb(Fam.Rosebush),is mainly harvested in late winter or early spring.After removal of its brown floss,it is dried by natural sunlight and ground into powder to be used as a medicine.
Medicinal Properties:bitter and cold.
Meridian Tropism:spleen and large intestine meridians.
Medicinal Efficacies:expel intestinal parasitic worms.
Usage and Dosage: It is ground into powder for swallows,with the recommended dosage being 30~45g each time.For children,the dosage is 0.7~0.8g/kg.
