White Hyacinth Bean(Bai bian dou)
This medicinal is the dried ripe seed of Dolichos lablab L.(Fam.Leguminosae).It is collected in autumn when the fruits have become ripe.It is dried by sunlight and used both in its raw and baked form.
Medicinal Properties:sweet and slightly warm.
Meridian Tropism:spleen and stomach meridians.
Medicinal Efficacies:Invigorate spleen and resolve dampness;harmonize the middle and dispel summer-heat.
Usage and Dosage: 10~15g.Baked,it has better effect on invigorating the spleen to stop diarrhea.
