It is the dried ripe fruit of Litchi chinensis Sonn,family Saoindaceae.The ripe fruits are collected in summer.With rind and pulp-like seed skin removed,they are dried in the sunshine.It is pounded or stir-baked with salty water for using.

Medicinal Properties:sweet,slightly bitter and warm.

Meridian Tropism:liver and kidney meridian.

Medicinal Efficacies:soothe liver and dissipate stagnation;dispel cold and relieve pain.

Usage and Dosage: 4.5~9g.
