Common Bletilla Tuber(Bai ji)

It is the dry tuber of Bletilla striata(Thunb.)Reichb.f.,family Orchidaceae.Collected in summer and autumn,fibrous root removed,washed clean and dried in the sun,it can be utilized in its raw form.
Medicinal Properties:Bitter,sweet,astringent and slightly cold.
Meridian Tropism:Lung,stomach and liver meridians.
Medicinal Efficacies:Stop bleeding by astringing;remove swelling and promote regeneration.
Usage and Dosage: 6~15g.3~6g of the powder is used per time.Appropriate amount for external application.
