The source is from the dried ripe fruit of Amomumtsao-ko Crevost et Lemaire,family Zingiberaceae.It is collected in the autumn when the fruits are mature,dried in the sun or dried in the low temperature.
Medicinal Properties:Pungent and warm.
Meridian Tropism:Spleen and stomach meridians.
Medicinal Efficacies:Dry dampness,warm the middle;eliminate phlegm and check malaria.
