Chinese Name: Yu Ping Feng San
English Name: Oyester Shell Powder

Ingredients:Huang Qi(Radix Astragali seu Hedysari)30g  Ma Huang Gen (Radix Ephedrae)30g Duan Mu Li (Concha Ostreae)30g.

Administration:Grind the above ingredients into coarse powder, decoct 9g each time and twice daily with handreds of Xiao Mai (Fructus Tritici Aestivi). The ingredients can also be decocted in water for oral administration with the dosage reduced in proportion to the original formula.

Actions:Consolidates the superficies and astrings yin, replenishes qi and arrests seat.

Indications:Spontaneous sweating and night sweat due to superficial weakness marked by spontaneous sweating, especially while being asleep at night, prologed sweating, palpitation, short breath, vexation, lassitude, pale tongue, and thready and weak pulse.
