The source is from fruit of Chaenomeles speciosa(Sweet)Nakai,family Rosaceae.The medicinal quality from Xuancheng in Anhui Province is the best.It is collected when the fruit becomes green and yellow in the summer and autumn.It is boiled until the skin becomes grey and split in half and dried in the sun,being cut into pieces for use.
Medicinal Properties:Sour,warm.
Meridian Tropism:Liver and spleen meridians.
Medicinal Efficacies: Soothe tendons and activate collaterls;harmonize and stomach and resolve dampness.
Usage and Dosage:6~9g.
