The source is from the juice of the base of the leaf of a perennial evergreen plant,Aleo.ferox Miller.,Aleo barbadensis Miller.,Berger,family Liliaceae,and the juice is further concentrated and made into a kind of dried extract.All year round the juice out of the cut leaves is collected and then concentrated into thick extract.

Medicinal Properties:Bitter and cold.

Meridian Tropism:Liver stomach and large intestine meridians.

Medicinal Efficacies: Purge and relax the bowels;clear liver and kill worms.

Usage and Dosage:2-5g.It is taken orally.The appropriate amount is used externally.It can be ground into pieces for external application.
